We Have a Passion for Craftin’
In 2013, a concept was born to create a brewery with a post-Prohibition We were three local bartenders with a dream of building a fun and tasteful brewery. Our goal was to provide amazing hand-crafted beer with entertainment.
Well, here we are 6 years later and going strong. We are happy that we have built a community around our brewery that we consider to be family. We continue to focus on our PASSION FOR CRAFTIN’. That is what got us started and that is what will drive us into the future. We love one thing, plain and simple, serving great people great beer!

This place is awesome! I haven’t found a craft beer that knocks my socks off until we came to Soggy Bottom. The Blackberry Wheat was amazing and our friends had the Toasted Coconut Porter which they raved about. The bartenders are friendly, very attentive and the atmosphere is inviting and lots of fun.. Fan of the flight I had -Dry Stout; coconut stout, Amber ale & Norfolk brown ale (which was my fav!)
They have ciders, some guest tapps & wine. Yes, they have wine. Pool tables, darts & so much more for fun. Great hang out with friends or by yourself. Garage / country style decor done with class. Wow!, that Coconut Porter is the best Porter I’ve ever tasted! Very smooth, not too sweet..The tupelo honey kolsch and the English Brown Ale are also delicious! Cheers to the Brewer!

I Love going to visit SBB. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable, the selection is varied, and there are options for entertainment. Live music, inside/outside seating, darts, etc. You have to check it out to get the feel. I ALWAYS walk out smiling.

From the very first visit through tonight’s, SBB has provided great beers and greater customer service. Two Face & Screaming Seagull IPA’s, as well as Toasted Coconut Porter & Outlaw Amber, are worldclass crafts, and the new Norfolk English Brown Ale is an incredible addition to the arsenal. After only 118 days open for business, you guys are quickly becoming the #BestoftheBay . Cheers.
